About Me

I believe any problem can be solved when people are willing to sit down together and talk about the issues.  On occasion we need someone to help us with the discussion process and that is where mediation enters the problem solving process.  We all go through difficult times in our lives, but when we can solve problems, we are able to move on with our lives.

I have been involved with mediation for 8 years.  I received my training at Utah Valley University, where I participated in basic and advanced Mediation classes and completed several internships at the Fourth District Small Claims Courts (before they became Justice Courts).  I was admitted to the Basic Court Roster in 2010.  I completed additional domestic training several years later and was added to the Divorce Roster.

  • I have had mediation experience in divorce, custody, parent-time, landlord/tenant, parent/teen, paternity, and other family issues.
  • I have a degree in English which helps me to think logically and systematically about the issues people are facing.  This experience also helps me write a clear, concise, and detailed Memorandums of Understanding to outline the agreements reached in Mediation.
  • I have a degree in Psychology which has helped me to understand the human side of difficulties that clients face in life.  My job is to help clients come up with their own solutions to the problems they face.
